Barbara Anderson is the Executive Director of Another Chance of Ohio, which provides, at no cost, donated clothing, furniture, appliances, house wares to people in need and food to the needy. Ms. Anderson survived being victimized by predatory lending which has equipped her to tirelessly work to end that shameful practice and keep families in their homes. She has testified before the United States Senate Judiciary Subcommittee regarding racial harassment and intimidation. She is a leader in national efforts to support fair lending, community reinvestment, and foreclosure prevention/intervention and has served as a panelist on numerous forums. She has also served in leadership, and volunteer roles for many community based organizations. Ms. Anderson is an active resident of the North Broadway neighborhood of Cleveland, also known as Slavic Village.
