Cleveland | Animal Welfare
Becca Britton has been working in the non profit sector since 2003. Her non profit work experience has had a focus of community development and animal welfare. Becca founded (2003) Friends of the Cleveland Kennel, a non-profit organization that served as a support agency for Cleveland Animal Control. Through her non-profit, she ran a successful rescue organization, raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in supportive care and programming for animals in need at the Cleveland Animal Control, and organized several large scale community-focused pet vaccine clinic events throughout the city of Cleveland. In 2016, Becca founded Neighborhood Pets Outreach and Resource Center, a community based non profit focused on supporting low income pet owners. Britton used her community outreach experience & training, certification from the Humane Society of the United States Pets for Life program, and experience in non profit management to create a dynamic intuitive model based on relationship & trust building within the community, while providing accessible and affordable resources to low income pet owners.
