Darnella Allen Walker was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio. She is a graduate of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Darnella is the founder of Liver Education Advocacy & Preventions Services (LEAPS). This is a faith-based, non-profit agency committed to educating the public about liver disease, primarily Hepatitis C. Darnella is on the board of the Alliance of Hepatitis C Taskforce. She is also a member of the Hepatitis Roundtable. Darnella has been a member of the Center of Disease Control’s Commission on Hepatitis C. Darnella has a degree in Religious Studies and is currently pursuing a degree in Christian Counseling at Liberty University. She is an Ordained Minister and founder of the Church of the Paraclete Ministries. Darnella is married and has one child.
