Diane Morgan Cohort V

Diane Morgan was born in Cleveland but spent most of her adult life in the Philadelphia region. Diane was pivotal in building Garden 44, a community garden in Ohio City. She completed Dig In! Community Gardening and the Market Gardener’s Training Program with OSU Extension and leadership training with the Westside Leadership Collaborative of Cleveland. Diane is the founder of NxGen Preserve. The mission of NxGen Preserve is to preserve land, to grow food and to preserve food. Diane fulfilled a lifelong dream of urban farming with Maggie’s Farm. Maggie’s Farm is based on a cooperative business model and is a for profit urban farm, providing underemployed and unemployed members of the community an opportunity to learn new skills and improve their economic situation.
