James Rudyk, Jr. is the Executive Director of the Northwest Side Housing Center located in Chicago, Illinois. He has over four years of experience in the non-profit housing sector. James was previously the Director of Community Organizing for ESOP, (Empowering and Strengthening Ohio’s People), a non-profit community organizing and housing counseling agency in Cleveland. He is a graduate with honors from John Carroll University with a BA in Race and Identity Studies and a minor in Political Philosophy. James is currently attending Northwestern University working on a Masters in Public Policy and Administration. His other professional experience also includes working with inner city youth in a variety of capacities, freelance writing and non-profit management consulting. In his free time James enjoys running, reading, biking, cooking, and music.
