Krissie Wells is originally from Wapakoneta, Ohio. She attended Case Western’s Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences and obtained her Masters of Social Administration degree with a concentration in Community Development. Currently, Krissie works as a research associate and test coordinator at the Housing Research and Advocacy Center, a non-profit agency dedicated to ending housing discrimination and creating diverse communities in Northeast Ohio. Krissie is particularly passionate about bicycling, cities, reproductive rights, and creating empowered communities where the voices of all people – the poor and the rich – are heard equally. Krissie implemented a bicycle advocacy program that impacts low-income adults who bicycle for transportation purposes at St. Paul’s Community Church. Krissie also volunteers with the Cleveland Big Brothers, Big Sisters Chapter and the Cuyahoga Earned Income Tax Credit Coalition.
