Marion Anita Gardner is a strong advocate in her community since learning to take a stand in the fight against predatory lenders alongside ESOP. As one of the lead founders of Concerned Citizens in Mt. Pleasant she lives by the saying, “Be the change you want to see”. Ms. Gardner sits on the boards of three organizations: Discovery Center Inc., ESOP (Empowering and Strengthening Ohio’s People) and FOI’z IIWII. ( FOI’z = It is what it is). Ms. Gardner volunteers most of her time at the Discovery Center Inc. She teaches Arts and Crafts and her latest goal is to teach printing to the youth, for the centers own printing company called Our Village Printing. The funds raised support the center.
